A passion for dancing brought the founders of On YA feet together. As students, we have limited access to resources and found that most of the dancing shoes available in Melbourne were priced quite beyond our means.

Combine this with Australia 's recent fascination with dancing (as proven with such TV programs as Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Dancing), we realised that there is an opportunity in the market for high quality, comfortable, and reasonably-priced (i.e. student-friendly price) dancing shoes in Australia . Hence, with the help of the Young Achievement Australia (YAA) Business Skills program, we founded " On YA Feet " company, importing comfortable, stylish, high-quality, and affordable dance shoes into Australia .

On YA Feet has been up and running since 2005, scoring the Centre of Innovation and Technology Commercialization (CITC) and the Department of Industry, Tourism, and Resources (DITR) as sponsors.
